NAME: COLE SCHWEITZER

Deacon Blu is the owner of Nyx Productions. He is also the sound Engineer for Stupid Happy Collective. Listening to music and the emotions he experienced developed his love for the art. He picked up a guitar when he was twelve years old, playing music ranging from metal to folk. Eventually he came across the EDM scene. The love of the community engulfed him and inspired him to become a DJ, playing small venues to big events. His biggest accomplishment as an artist is headlining the 2017 Deadwood Mountain Grand New Years Eve Ball Drop.

 

He became an event coordinator to advance his DJing to the next level. He started Nyx Productions, hosting shows ranging from EDM, hip-hop, punk, metal, and rock. Out of necessity he became a sound engineer, sparking a novel curiosity. His passion and skill led him to being a sound tech at The Knuckle Saloon during the 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Outside of his work he produces trap music, gardens, and plays video games. His most important leisure activity is spending time with his daughter.
